Companies are required to comply with the Employment Equity and Skills Development Acts.  In order to do this, consultation with staff is necessary and the Code of Good Practice suggests that all Employment Equity/Skills Committee members be empowered with the latest knowledge and information relating to Employment Equity and Skills Development.

The Employment Equity Committee training programme is a detailed yet simplistic guideline to the legislation and provides appropriate practices to operate within the Employment Equity framework.
