Human Resources Administration
We have the resources to provide an HR professional to take care of the day-to-day Human Resource administration and / or management practices appropriate for your business. The service is carried out at your business premises for agreed hours and covers a wide scope of Human Resource activities. In addition our office provides assistance for the drafting of documents, payroll management and advice relating to our services.
Our Senior HR Professionals assist with Industrial Relations issues including, union negotiations, chairing of disciplinary hearings, employee counselling, grievance hearings, retrenchment procedures and preparation for CCMA processes.
In terms of legislation all companies with more than 50 employees are required to comply with the Employment Equity Act. Failure to do so results in large fines. We assist with forming and training Employment Equity committees, facilitating meetings and preparing and submitting the required documentation in compliance with the legislation.
Companies with a salary bill of more than R500 000-00 per annum are required to pay a skills development levy (SDL). We assist our clients with the preparation and submission of Annual Training Reports (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) to the SETA the client is registered with in order to secure Mandatory, PIVOTAL and Discretionary Funding. Work includes consulting with Skills Committees and carrying out Training Gap Analyses.
We have several training programmes registered with the South African Board for People Practice. These courses are designed to assist line mangers to understand their role in managing their staff and include modules for performance management, recruitment, industrial relations, mentoring and coaching and an understanding of legislation that managers should be aware of in order to effectively manage their staff. We also have life skills training to assist employees in managing their goals and work life and personal life more effectively.
A vital requirement in having a successful business is to ensure that your staff understand and assist you in achieving your company strategy. The process of implementing a performance management process would involve understanding your strategy, training staff and managers to formulate key performance indicators which can be measured and to assist with the implementation of the performance management reward system.
Our service involves assisting our clients with the advertising of positions, managing the process of identifying suitable CV’s, reference checking, personality profiling, ITC and qualification checks and assisting with the interviewing process.
Our policies, which are designed for the employee to read and understand are comprehensive. There are 12 policies which every company should have however, we have developed more than 45 policies. Our service includes customising the policies for your company and training staff to ensure full understanding and acceptance of the policies.
